This week I resigned as youth pastor at New Providence Baptist Church.  I’ve been attending there since 2003 and became the youth pastor in September of 2004.  For my children, it is the only church they’ve ever known.  For me, it is the church that kept me around far longer than I ever imagined.  This group of students will quite possibly be in my mind, heart, and soul for as long as I continue to breathe.  I truly believe that some of them will greatly affect the world around them and have potential to change the world.  I’m sure I’ll be writing more about this great group of students in the months and years to come.  For now I’ll leave it in their words of love and encouragement that they plastered all over facebook.

dv8 forever!
