I gotta say, I don’t think I’d rap it, but I pretty much have to agree with everything this guy is saying. After 14 years of youth work I’ve definitely seen a lot, but never enough.

Even though these numbers are from England The point is still extremely valid. In D.A.R.E. we teach students to seriously think about how many students are doing these things and not merely give in to peer or media pressure. For numbers and stats in the USA, please refer to a survey called Monitoring the Future. I’m not trying to say that things are rosy, but numbers for teenage drug, alcohol, and tobacco use have been dropping for over a decade.
Ok, so I got a threatening letter from a lawyer. He was claiming to represent a client my friend and I do some web design work for. Big mess which all boils down to some serious miscommunication issues. Hopefully we’ll be able to get it all taken care of without resorting to more lawyers. Either way, it’ll be another first for me. I guess I should’ve expected it at some point in time doing design work. Live and Learn
Tomorrow is a day of firsts. The wife and I are going through the love dare together with another couple. Between both of us doing it and another couple to help hold us accountable to it this should be a growing experience.
On top of that I am starting the 100 push-ups program tomorrow. Took the test today and completed 20 push-ups before I fell down. Day one of it all tomorrow, and it’s a Monday to begin with. Should be an interesting week.
